Bisphenol A - intake reduction proposed

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has proposed to lower the tolerable daily intake (TDI) for Bisphenol A (BPA) after completing its review of health studies into the chemical. The TDI for BPA is currently 0.05 mg/kg/body weight/day, which EFSA is now proposing to reduce to 0.005 mg/kg/bodyweight/day.
