New BIB concept brings more profit to water operators
Aqueduct Investments International has announced the introduction of its Bag in Box water cooler system, which it says offers vending operators a ‘leaner, greener, cleaner’ alternative to a traditional bottled water offering with greater profit potential.

According to Aqueduct, water can be a problem for traditional vending operators; viewed as a competing beverage system with the only options being low margin POU units with ongoing service/sanitisation requirements, or five gallon bottle coolers with their inherent logistical problems.

The Bag in Box system promises to open up new revenue streams for operators, enabling them to rent the coolers, sell the water and the cups without the need for any specialist staff or sanitising regimes. The box slides into the dispenser and a range of counter-top and free standing models are available. The Bag in Box concept can also be offered with fruit juice and enhanced water, ie water with a hint of fruit juice, and locally sourced water may be specified.
